About PTU

Punjab Technical University is a State Government University established in 1997 for the advancement of technical education. The University is imparting education through regular and distance mode. The University has under its affiliation 380 engineering & architect, management & hotel management and pharmacy colleges and more than 2000 learning centres under distance mode. The university has received e-India award for Best ICT enabled University and Best Open and distance learning university of the year in 2010.
